Be careful, if you go to a blog or forum just to post links you will get banned from the site.  Be engaging, and throw in a link on occasion.

3. Trade links: Find websites or blogs who may be willing to add a link to your site on their site in return for you adding a link to their site on your site. Search engines count links into your site in their rating of the popularity of your site. Don't expect everyone to add your links; but you'll find they will be much more receptive if you help them promote their site through comments on sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, StumbleUpon, Digg,Tumbler, and many others.
